Born and raised in Philadelphia, Nuri Muhammad found her creative spark at a young age. Having been exposed to musical stories through Walt Disney, Nuri always had a love for music and art. So, when she was presented with an opportunity to tell one of those stories, it was a surprise to no one that she would be infatuated with the world of theatre and performing arts.

A preexisting desire to participate in the school musical (and a little nudge of encouragement from mom) prompted Nuri to first her role as Zazu in The Lion King Jr. From there, Nuri trained to hone her skill and expand her knowledge as a performer.

Nuri has taken on various roles in theater, film, and voice-over projects and looks forward to more voice-over opportunities in the animation and video game industries.

When Nuri isn't performing, she can be found enjoying precious moments with her family, baking a cake, crocheting a sweater, or playing her favorite video games.
